Jane Henson is a therapeutic yoga instructor and a Christian Yoga Association Master Trainer. She has been a yoga practitioner for 18 years. She began her career in law enforcement as a Probation Officer and TCIC/NCIC trainer where she traveled the state teaching Law Enforcement personnel. Eventually she was drawn to the healthcare field where she began her career as an EMT. Like most first responders Jane was consistently faced with trauma after trauma. That is where she found the many benefits of a yoga practice. Seeing the benefits, Jane entered into a year long study of yoga therapy, trauma focused yoga and Chinese Medicine. She attended Liberty University and where she studied Psychology with a focus on PTSD. During her studies she learned the correlation between yoga and its benefits for those who suffer from PTSD and the foundation for TMFR began. Jane is a certified therapeutic and trauma focused yoga instructor with specialties in Yin and Chair. It is through these specialties that Jane has learned how to target specific areas of the body to increase health and wellness through movement and tactical breathing techniques as well as adapt her programs to the needs of each specific group or client. She is known for her expertise in hip and lower back flexibility.
